AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)05/20 Report--

Tesla Model 3, a star model on the market this year, has attracted a lot of attention since its launch. Adhering to the workmanship of American cars, it is not so friendly to Chinese consumers. Many car owners find quality problems after picking up their cars, such as faulty assembly, abnormal steering wheel, malfunctioning electronic equipment, and even leaking skylights. More noteworthy is actually Tesla's Autopilot autopilot function, whose safety and reliability have always been questioned. Not long ago, an American car owner was killed in a car crash after turning on the Autopilo system. In China, there are also car owners reflect that Tesla Autopilot system shows that there is BUG.

If you own an Model 3, you may see the following magical situations while parking and waiting.

A well-known car critic said that the screen laughed when waiting for the red light, and the Model3 screen showed the cars dancing in the square around.

Of course, square dancing certainly does not exist in the real environment, which can only show that there is a display problem in Tesla's AP system. Some netizens joked: "these cars are revived after being scrapped in a car accident, which is called the car spirit visual system." Another netizen said: "Let's sway together!"

The problem encountered by another Tesla Model 3 owner is even more magical. The cars parked on one side were well-behaved, but in Tesla's display they were "dancing in place", even showing a car drifting around the corner on the right.

Perhaps this phenomenon will not affect the system judgment and normal driving, but such a clear indication of BUG, Tesla should be corrected.

According to Tesla, the Autopilot autopilot system improves driving safety and convenience through a 360 °camera, a 160m front radar and ultrasonic sensors to detect nearby vehicles.

But the reality is that Tesla's Autopilot is not omnipotent, once an accident can be devastating. The Autopilot was confirmed to be on in the fatal accident of Tesla Model 3 in Florida on March 1, according to a report by the National Transportation Board (NTSB).

When Model 3 collided with the trailer of a truck, Model 3 got under the car, the roof was cut off and the driver died on the spot. The investigation showed that the Autopilot system was turned on 10 seconds before the accident, while the driver's hand was not on the steering wheel for eight seconds. Neither the Autopilot system nor the driver interfered with the vehicle during the collision, and the huge collision force made the vehicle still move forward for nearly 500m after the roof was cut. NTSB also said it would continue to investigate the details of the accident. This is the third fatal accident related to Tesla's autopilot system in the United States.

Not long ago, a man and a woman in the United States made indescribable movements in Tesla's car, when the vehicle was turning on the Autopilot function, but fortunately there was no accident. Tesla CEO Musk also responded to the incident: "it turns out that autopilot has many uses that we can't imagine." He also promised to put 1 million self-driving taxis on the road by 2020.

However, whether the autopilot system is really completely reliable remains to be verified, at least some BUG should be solved.
