GAC GROUP's new electric car, the Aions, launched this year, has signed nearly 50, 000 orders since it went on sale in March.

GAC NE, owned by GAC GROUP, launched two pure electric models, the AionS and AionLX., in 2019, based on the new second-generation pure electric platform. The AionS, which went on sale on March 27th this year, is the first model of GAC NE's AION series, with a maximum range of 600km.

Aion S received more than 23000 orders in 45 days of pre-sale, and the proportion of private customization exceeded 50%. So many private customizations also exceeded GAC NE's expectations. Today, there are nearly 50, 000 AionS vehicles.

The Aion LX, as the second model of GAC NE's AION series, is positioned as a pure electric supercar SUV with an acceleration of 3.9s at 100km. GAC's promotion is also a slogan that "anyone can drive a sports car".

So far, GAC has only shown the appearance of the Aion LX at this year's Shanghai Auto Show, which will be produced in September.

At the same time, GAC will also promote the research and development of core components such as electromechanical coupling system and integrated electric drive IDU/ power battery cell as planned.
