Mercedes-Benz (China) car sales show that the company has filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. From now on, the recall of some imported C-Class and E-Class cars will be expanded, totaling 6406.

Recall models:

(I) some imported Class C vehicles produced during the period from August 21, 2015 to June 23, 2017, totaling 5922.

(2) A total of 484 imported Class E cars were produced during the period from November 21, 2016 to June 22, 2017.

Recall vehicles:

Supplier production deviation, copilot seat back may not be properly locked. In the event of a vehicle collision, the back of the seat can not provide enough support, which increases the risk of injury of the occupants in the car, and there are hidden dangers.

Recall scheme:

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will check the locking status of the passenger seat back of the vehicle within the recall and, if necessary, replace it with a seat back that has improved the locking mechanism to eliminate safety risks.
