AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)05/25 Report--
In the domestic news, we often hear about parents who leave their children in the car, resulting in accidents in the car. Such accidents have also aroused the concern of the automobile industry.
French parts supplier Valeo has announced that it will launch a new technology: infant stranded vehicle Monitoring system (Infant leaving detection system) to avoid these types of accidents.
The system monitors the breathing status of organisms (infants, pets) stranded in the car through a sensor set on the roof and ceiling of the car. The sensor is very sensitive, even if the child or pet is obviously covered with a blanket. It can also be detected by thermal infrared detection technology that there are organisms in the car, and the system will send a vibration alarm to the car owner in time through the smartphone program.
It is reported that in 2022, the European Union will incorporate whether vehicles are equipped with in-car monitoring systems for young children into the Euro NCAP (European rules for the Evaluation of New cars) as one of the criteria for evaluating vehicle safety.
