A few days ago, we received news from Geely officials that Geely will officially launch a new MPV model, Geely Jiaji, on March 11. Officials say the car will be available for pre-sale on February 25, with an official price range of 15-180000 yuan.

In appearance, the car uses the new Geely family language design, the front face angular LED headlights, similar to the v-shaped intake grille, giving people a high-end feeling; side of the body, a straight waistline across the body to the taillights, from the side you can clearly see the car's suspended roof design; the rear of a group of LED lights installed in the triangle taillights, fog lights placed next to the air outlet, the overall is very simple.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of this car are 4706/1909/1690mm, the wheelbase is 2805mm, and its interior space is more regular than the mainstream MPV on the market.

On the interior, the front row basically adopts Geely's previous Full-Vison embracing design. As can be seen from the photos, it is equipped with a three-frame multi-function steering wheel for the main driver, a large-size suspended central control LCD screen, panoramic skylight, electronic pole and other configurations. Surprisingly, Geely is equipped with an additional 72-color streamer atmosphere lamp and gesture sensing top light in this car. In terms of seat structure, there are three kinds of seat layout: 2-2-2, 2-2-3 and 2-3-2. The car is equipped with ICC intelligent navigation system, full-speed ACC adaptive cruise control system, Bosch automatic parking system, RCW collision warning function, RCTA reversing lateral assist function and other configurations.

Power, the car has a light hybrid, plug-in hybrid system and fuel system, equipped with 1.5TD+48v engine, 1.5TD engine and 1.8TD turbocharged engine. Among them, the light hybrid version has a maximum power of 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 300 Nm, matched with a wet seven-speed double-clutch transmission with a fuel consumption of 5.9L per 100 km, while the plug-in hybrid version has a maximum power of 258 horsepower and a peak torque of 385 Nm. It matches a seven-speed wet double-clutch transmission with a fuel consumption of 1.6l per hundred kilometers, a maximum power of 184 horsepower and a peak torque of 300 Nm, and a six-speed manual self-integrated gearbox. The suspension structure adopts the combination of front McPherson independent suspension and rear torsion beam non-independent front and rear suspension.

Generally speaking, the configuration of this car is basically the configuration of the current mainstream models. From the current acceptance of the independent brand MPV, consumers can have more choices in the price range of 15-180000, such as Buick GL6, Volkswagen Tuan and other models. This car will be Geely's first hybrid MPV model. At present, there are relatively few hybrid and pure electric MPV models in China. Geely may continue to make efforts in the new energy MPV market this year.
