SAIC Volkswagen Tuang X is officially listed, and the manufacturer announced that the price is 31.69-488900 yuan. The car can be regarded as a Coupe version of Tuen, positioning 5 medium and large SUV, with three power configurations of 2.0T low power (330TSI), 2.0T high power (380TSI) and 2.5T V6 (530V6).

Tuang X continues its burly figure, and its styling style is similar to that of Tuang, with only adjustments in details, including changes in the style of the grid, further reduction in the area of headlights and a double "L" shape of daytime driving lights. The biggest difference lies in the part of the D-column, which uses a slip-back styling design, and the sloping D-column looks longer. The length, width and height of Tuang X are 4905/1989/1719mm, wheelbase and ordinary version of Tuang are the same as 2980mm, positioning medium and large SUV.

It is worth mentioning that the appearance of the Tuang X gives people a very familiar feeling, because a model called Zhongtai Damai X7 was put on the market in mass production two years ago.

The interior is still in popular style. Tuang X is equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD meter, and the original three-knob air-conditioning control panel is replaced by a touch panel. After canceling the third row of seats, all five seats of Tuang X were laid out, and the trunk space was released.

The power of Tuang X is consistent with that of Tuang, with 2.0T low power (330TSI), 2.0T high power (380TSI) and 2.5T V6 (530V6), all of which meet the national sixth emission standard and match the 7-speed double clutch gearbox. The maximum power of 330TSI is 186hp and the maximum torque is 320Nm; the maximum power of 380TSI is 220hp and the maximum torque is 350Nm; the maximum power of 530V6 is 299hp and the maximum torque is 500Nm.

Volkswagen Tuang sold fairly well, selling more than 5000 units a month, with a cumulative sales of 23708 units in the first four months of this year. However, as a mainstream joint venture brand, does the medium and large SUV really need a slippery back model?
