With the Belt and Road Initiative Summit Forum on International Cooperation held last month. The move also means that China's auto industry is changing from a big manufacturing country to a manufacturing power. This year coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, and great progress has been made as a "made in China" relying on "Belt and Road Initiative", which has also become a witness to the further deepening of Sino-Russian cooperation. The Russian Tula factory not only shows the globalization progress of Great Wall Motor, but also helps the Chinese economy to find new space in the global market.

The Russian Tula factory is not only the first full-process vehicle manufacturer of Great Wall overseas, but also the first example of China's automobile industry. Unlike most Chinese car assembly plants, Great Wall covers full-process manufacturing plants for stamping, welding, painting and final assembly, as well as soft and hard decorations, seats and exhaust systems.

The factory covers an area of about 216 hectares (2.16 square kilometers) with a total investment of 500 million US dollars. The design capacity is about 150000 vehicles per year. The factory is divided into living area and factory area, including canteen, medical room and other living facilities to meet the needs of employees.

As a Sino-Russian cooperation project, the Tula factory of Great Wall Motor has helped Russia bring a lot of benefits and solved the employment problem of many local employees. Since the factory was put into production in May this year, it has provided about 1650 jobs, of which 90% are Russian employees, which has also had a great impact on surrounding businesses.

The Harvard F7, which will be put into production at the Tula factory, is the first flagship model built with global thinking in accordance with international quality standards, and is expected to become a new business card for Chinese car brands to "go global". The Harvard F7 is aimed at global consumers, integrates global R & D and design strength, and is based on international quality standards.

The overall performance of Great Wall Motor in 2018 was indeed impressive. In 2018, Great Wall Motor had total revenue of 99.469 billion yuan and net profit of 5.395 billion yuan, an increase of 6.97% over the same period last year. In China, Harvard F7 sold 14512 vehicles in 2019, an increase of 36% over the previous month, and achieved sales of more than 10,000 in four consecutive months.

Now, after the whole industry has become bigger and stronger, Chinese automobile brands have also begun to rapidly improve the local manufacturing level in the way of the export of technological standards, so as to open up overseas markets. This has explored a complete path of globalization for Chinese automobile brands to go out, and will have a lasting and far-reaching impact on the globalization of China's automobile industry.
