A few days ago, FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. It is decided that from now on, some domestic Audi A4L and Q5L vehicles will be recalled, totaling 2505.

Recall models:

(1) some 2019 domestic Audi A4L cars produced from April 23, 2019 to May 16, 2019, with a total of 974 vehicles.

(2) some of the 2019 domestic Audi Q5L cars produced from April 14, 2019 to May 16, 2019, totaling 1531.

Reasons for recall:

For the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the deviation in the positioning of the supplier's production equipment within a specific period of time, pre-damage is caused to the inner wall of the low-pressure fuel pipe of individual engines during the assembly process, which may lead to fuel leakage from the low-pressure fuel pipe. In extreme cases, if the source of fire may lead to fire, there is a safety risk.

Solution:

FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. will entrust Audi authorized dealers to replace qualified engine low-pressure fuel pipes for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.
