According to the cooperation agreement, Ningde Times and Pryder will become suppliers of BAIC New Energy's power battery system products. Ningde Times and Pryder provide BAIC New Energy with the largest preferential price every year. The price of its products will also be shown in the products offered by Pryder.

BAIC New Energy's move is seen by the outside world as a hint of its confidence that it will continue to grow at a high speed in 2019. According to statistics, BAIC New Energy sold 158000 units in 2018, an increase of 53.11% over the same period last year. It has successfully stood in the first echelon of domestic pure electric vehicle brand sales. Its partner Pryder, as a professional power battery system company, ranks first as an independent third-party Pack company for five consecutive years, with shipments of about 2.3GWh in 2017 and 4.7GWh in 20111.
