On May 26, we reported that SAIC GM Wuling registered the trademark of Qiuming Mountain Divine Car. The outside world thought that Wuling registered the trademark or name as a powerful synonym for brand registration by using the image of public opinion on the Internet.

Today, we learned the design drawing of Wuling Baojun's new concept model on the Internet. The new car has the internal code CN220C. This model is built on the same platform as the RS5 model released before. Different from our common Baojun series cars, this model adopts the sporty design of coupe sliding back.

In terms of power parameters, the new model is expected to use the same powertrain as the RS5, with a maximum power of 151 hp and a peak torque of 250 Nm for the 1.5T hole-drilling machine, matching a six-speed manual gearbox and a CVT gearbox.

Wuling builds Baojun's image through youthful and networked settings, hoping to get rid of the public's consistent commercial vehicles and cheap positioning of Baojun. The new model should be positioned as a compact economy sedan, but Baojun will not face rivals such as Corolla, Civic and Focus. Instead, it is a compact model of its own brand such as Chang 'an Yidong or Qichen D60. For Wuling's recent sales performance from January to April this year is 223,000 vehicles, and the top three sales in April are Baojun 510 for 11527 vehicles, Baojun 310 for 3321 vehicles and Baojun 530 for 5926 vehicles. The above three models are SUV and MPV models. Baojun has been weak in sales of cars. At the beginning of its listing, Baojun 630 once sponsored the online series Diaosi Man and became popular, but then slowly faded out of public view.

The design drawing of Baojun's compact sedan is reminiscent of whether the trademark registered in the previous autumn famous mountain god car will be related to this new model.
