According to the statistics of vehicle quality network, 6589 valid complaints were received from vehicle owners in May, with the number of complaints rising 21% year-on-year. In terms of brands, complaints from independent brands accounted for 45%, complaints from joint venture brands accounted for 53%, among which American brands accounted for 17%, German brands accounted for 12%, Japanese brands accounted for 10%, and French brands accounted for 7%.

The three models with the most complaints in May were Peugeot 408, Volvo XC60 and Buick Yinglang. The top 10 was followed by Volkswagen Lavida, Citroen C4L, Audi A4L, Buick Excelle, Hyundai Leader, Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Lingdu.

Dongfeng Peugeot 408 is not only a frequent customer on the complaint list, but also a model that often ranks first. Originally, the sales volume is not bright, and the complaint rate is still so high. It is also a very magical thing. Peugeot 408 by the majority of car owners complaints typical problems are: tire cracking, shock absorber abnormal sound, oil burning, etc., the overall problem is still relatively many.

Volkswagen Bora occupied second place in April and was overtaken and replaced by the rapidly catching Volvo XC60 in May. The XC60 is Volvo's best-selling model in China, and users generally react to "body resonance" problems, resulting in a surge in complaints about the XC60 in May. The Volvo S90, ranked 24th, also has corresponding complaints.

According to one complaint content description, the car is idling, driving has low frequency resonance, resulting in tinnitus dizziness headache, so that the owner is extremely uncomfortable, hot car is more serious, at the same time in the driving speed of about 27km/h, the car body has obvious shaking, affecting the driving texture.

Another complaint shows that Volvo XC60 has low-frequency resonance sound during driving, and low-frequency resonance causes ear discomfort. When idling, the front row will press the ears, and the driver will feel dizzy, earache and vomiting for a long time.

So far, Volvo Asia Pacific manufacturers have not issued relevant information on this issue, and the general feedback from users has not been resolved. We also found that as user complaints grew, the number of user complaints continued to increase in June, with 53 complaints received as of June 10, ranking first among all SUV models.

There are not many Japanese brands on the list, while Dongfeng Nissan's two main Xuanyi and Qijun models still appear on the list. The problems focus on Nissan CVT gearbox, including failure, fault lights, etc.

The automobile complaint ranking list is ranked according to the complaints of vehicle owners. Therefore, the more likely the models with large sales volume and large quantity will be on the list, the more cases will be complained about. Therefore, the models on the list cannot indicate that their quality is lacking compared with other models. The significance lies in that the models complained about in the ranking list may have frequent problems for this model of vehicle, which has certain reference value as vehicle owners or consumers who want to sell cars.
