Mercedes-Benz official learned that Mercedes-Benz's new GLB compact 7-seat SUV official map was officially released today, the new car is based on the MFA architecture platform, will provide 5-seat and 7-seat seat layout options, and focus on the market segment between GLA and GLC. Earlier, it was reported that Mercedes-Benz GLB would settle in Beijing before the end of the year and achieve domestic production.

In terms of appearance, the new car is basically consistent with the previously released CONCEPT GLB concept car, the mass production version of the lower grille plug-in changes greatly, the intake grille is perpendicular to the ground, and compared with the concept car's large pattern off-road tire, the new car uses a smaller hub design.

On the side of the body, this car is somewhat different from the GLA. The overall line is simple and capable. In the rear, the new car adopts the latest style design of Mercedes-Benz, and the lamp group is equipped with a circular LED light belt. The AMG-Line Sport Kit version uses a chrome-plated lower plate, while the off-road version uses a matte silver lower plate.

In terms of interior decoration, the new car will adopt Mercedes-Benz's latest generation of family design style, dashboard + central control integrated screen design, turbine air conditioning outlet shape, brand new Touchpad controller and metal texture and three-frame multi-function steering wheel with double thumb control function all adopt Mercedes-Benz iconic design, a bit similar to the new A-class family design style.

In terms of power, the GLB 200will be equipped with 1.3T four-cylinder gasoline engine, the GLB 2504MATIC will be equipped with 2.0T four-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum power of 163hp and 224hp respectively, and the GLB 200d/GLB 220d/GLB 220d 4MATIC will be equipped with 2.0T four-cylinder diesel engine with a maximum power of 150hp and 190hp respectively. With the exception of the GLB 200 model with a seven-speed double-clutch transmission, all other models will match Mercedes-Benz's newly developed eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

As a new luxury compact SUV made by Mercedes-Benz, the launch of Mercedes-Benz GLB will be a good supplement to its own product line.
