According to Toyota's May sales figures, Guangzhou Auto Toyota and FAW Toyota sold a total of 138500 vehicles in China in May, up 12.1% from a year earlier, marking Toyota's 15th consecutive month of growth. More prominently, its Lexus sold more than 17000 vehicles in China, a simultaneous increase of more than 150%. The cumulative sales of 76000 vehicles from January to May, up 27% from a year earlier.
FAW Toyota sold 71200 vehicles in May, up 10% from January to May, up 5% over the same period last year.
