In June 2018, Mr. Shen bought a newly discovered Land Rover car with a price of 700000 yuan at the Zhongjie 4S store in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. after less than two months of driving, there was an oil leak in the gearbox. Mr. Shen immediately went to Nanjing Zhongjie Land Rover 4S store to check.

After inspection, the staff told the car owner that the oil leakage in the Land Rover gearbox was due to the oil seal problem, and because Mr. Shen had worked with the store for many years, he listened to their advice, and then the staff also cleaned the gearbox shell and smeared the detection powder. Who knows after driving for a period of time, after the second test, there is still the problem of oil leakage in the gearbox.

In fact, as early as August 2018, Land Rover China issued an announcement about the 8PH45 automatic transmission shell oil spill related models, including Land Rover, Land Rover Sports, Land Rover new discovery, and Mr. Shen's model happened to be inside.

Mr. Shen felt that the staff of the store knew full well that Land Rover China had issued the relevant announcement, but they had been turning a blind eye to it, confusing the public and evading the question. Even without my consent, illegally disassemble the owner's gearbox and transfer box, remove and install it may not be the original parts.

After months of communication, Land Rover China and officials have proposed a solution for Mr. Shen: the problem can be replaced directly with the improved gearbox by February 21, 2019. After February 21, 2019, the maintenance scheme of removing gearbox assembly and applying glue to plug sand hole was adopted.

It is obvious that the owner's car can only solve the related problems by applying glue to plug the sand hole, but Mr. Shen feels that this scheme has too many safety problems and does not meet the national automobile quality standards. At the same time, has been looking for excuses to procrastinate, car devaluation, resulting in direct economic losses.

Land Rover staff said: "have the ability to make things big, or honestly do what they want." This attitude made Mr. Shen very angry. Mr. Shen said that he would always fight Land Rover China to the end.

The reporter called the after-sales director of the Zhongjie 4S store, and he said that he docked with Mr. Shen in the early stage. Mr. Shen bought the car in August. Some customers also reported problems in the Land Rover customer base, and they also carried out corresponding tests. The first test was non-leaking, but he came to the store for maintenance before the test, and it was really because of the oil leakage. As for the maintenance plan of the 4S store, this is a clear technical announcement from the manufacturer, and we can only implement it. Glue treatment is provided by the manufacturer's technology and is applicable to all models in the country.

Subsequently, the reporter also called the official hotline of Land Rover China, and the staff said: there are relatively few problems with oil leakage in the transmission, and the relevant departments have followed up the matter of Mr. Shen. In mid-May, we also called back to visit Mr. Shen. Mr. Shen did not raise any related concerns.

The reporter on whether to contact the relevant manufacturers of Land Rover China to answer questions about the gearbox oil leak is that the staff said: this is the internal communication between the manufacturer and the 4S store by e-mail, and the outside cannot understand it.
