AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)02/26 Report--

Last year, China took a 67 per cent stake in Bowo for nearly 4 billion yuan, and Bowo dealers expressed strong dissatisfaction with the introduction of Shenzhou Buy into its terminal sales system, followed by more than one collective rights incident. In order to promote communication and coordination between Bowo dealers and manufacturers, on February 14 this year, the all-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Automobile Dealers Chamber of Commerce established the Bowo Dealer Rights Protection working Group, but today the Chamber disbanded the Rights Protection working Group. The reason is that Bowo dealers have "taken extreme behavior".

Today, the all-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Automobile Dealers Chamber of Commerce issued a notice to dissolve the Bowo Dealers' Rights Protection working Group, saying that the Chamber of Commerce supports reasonable, legal and effective communication between Bowo dealers and manufacturers, and severely opposes such radical acts as "blocking doors, pulling banners, and sit-ins." in view of this, the Chamber of Commerce decided to dissolve the working group.

Following a joint petition from 51 dealers in November last year to force Gongbao Wo to safeguard their rights, representatives of Bowo dealers recently gathered at BAIC's Futian headquarters holding banners to safeguard their rights again. The activist dealers wore agreed clothes and opened a banner at BAIC's Futian headquarters: "Futian Baowo, deceiving the operation, harming dealers, and returning my hard-earned money."

It is understood that dealers are dissatisfied with Bowo mainly on two points: first, BAIC Foton made a deceptive investment in the name of the German top four "German Bowo" brand, and last year without notifying the dealers. Baowo transferred 67% of its shares to the actual control of China. After that, China changed its investment promotion policy, which originally promised to have more than one store in one city and one partner completely, and the latest investment policy of thousands of cities and ten thousand stores. Only 50 square meters can open a store, this policy undoubtedly increases the market competition, and the operation of the original dealers becomes difficult.

In addition, recently, China has also launched a new automobile retail platform, adopting a combination of flagship stores, franchise stores and points of sale, or even "zero franchise fee", combined with the business of car rental and chauffeured cars in Shenzhou, so that consumers can "enjoy first and buy later, refundable and exchangeable", specific services include 0 down payment, in-depth test driving, 90 days no reason to return the car, and so on.

After China took over Bowo, Bowo new car sales is no longer a single 4S store business model, its own sales are not good, and now the market has been further apportioned, and Baowo dealers have shown strong dissatisfaction. BAIC Foton is unanimously asked to give "off the net compensation", and during this period of time, dealers have no choice but to protect their rights.
