In late 2016, former Audi design director Wolfgang Iger officially joined BYD, and then launched a new generation of Tang and Song pro models, all by Iger, which established BYD's current family language of styling and design.

Earlier this year, BYD also announced the arrival of two heavyweights. The former Ferrari exterior design director JuanMa L ó pez (Huan Ma Lopez) and the former Daimler Mercedes-Benz interior design director Michele Jauch-Paganetti (Michelle Gapanetti) officially joined the BYD styling team.

Three international designers will continue to lead the BYD modeling team, and the completion of the design center means that BYD pays more attention to the design work.

In the past two years, there has been more innovation and recognition in the design style of BYD's models, which has changed the previous "killing Matt" style. The latest sales figures show that 33920 new cars were sold in May, down 10.2% from a year earlier. The cumulative sales from January to May were 189337, up 1.29% from a year earlier.

Among them, new energy vehicles rose 53.8 per cent in May from a year earlier to 21899, with cumulative sales of 119082 vehicles from January to May, an increase of 106 per cent over the same period last year.
