AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)06/20 Report--
According to foreign media reports, the British car brand Bentley has announced that it will launch hybrid versions of all its models by 2023, and the British carmaker is already making plans for the full electrification of the entire product line. and will launch its own pure electric car in 2025.
Bentley did not specify which models would be the first to use a hybrid system, nor did it provide any details on the drivetrain, but a modified version of the existing plug-in Bentayga system seemed likely.
Bentley said it will launch its Bentayga Hybrid hybrid SUV by the end of this year and currently offers eight-cylinder and 12-cylinder gasoline engines in the United States. But there is no specific schedule for Bentley's other hybrid models, and foreign media are expected to include GT sedan and sports car versions, FlyingSpurSedan and Mulsanne, and Bentley will fill the gap in the hybrid version by 2023. According to foreign media speculation, the entire Bentley electrification may rely on Volkswagen Group hybrid and electric technology.
The Bentley Bentayga hybrid is expected to be powered by a new Bentley 3.0L V6 gasoline engine combined with an electric motor for up to 31 miles. The battery pack can be recharged within 2 hours and 30 minutes through a fast charger or 7 hours and 30 minutes from an ordinary household outlet.
By contrast, rival Rolls-Royce has said publicly that it is not interested in producing any hybrid cars, choosing instead to consider pure electric vehicles when the technology becomes mainstream.
