A few days ago, BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products.

Recall models:

It is decided that from now on, a total of 209 imported X7 vehicles produced during the period from November 21, 2018 to March 8, 2019 will be recalled.

Reasons for recall:

Due to erroneous assembly of some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the safety air curtain for the occupant's head may be installed on the vehicle in a torsional state, which can not be fully unfolded when the safety air curtain is triggered, and the risk of injury to the occupants will be increased in the event of a vehicle collision accident. There is a safety risk.

Recall scheme:

BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will check the installation status of the safety air curtain for vehicles within the recall area free of charge and reinstall it correctly if necessary to eliminate safety risks.
