AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)06/22 Report--
The SAIC-Volkswagen brand will launch a number of models this year and next, and the new electric car built on the MEB platform will also be officially mass-produced by the end of next year. Its Lang Yi pure electric version will be available in the second half of 2019, and Tuyue pure electric version will be available in 2020. The company also plans to launch new MPV models, Tuguan L seven-seat models and Tuguan X models within 2019.
As for the MPV model, judging from the previous spy photos of the car, the new car uses a medium net with three horizontal chrome strips, and the headlights on both sides are directly connected to the trim, making the overall shape calm; in the rear, the new car is in a thick camouflage, but it is equipped with a side sliding back door, and the taillight group is designed to be broad and slender, which is similar to the new Passat.
In terms of interior decoration, the new car maintains the traditional design style of Volkswagen and is expected to provide a full LCD dashboard with a central control screen size of 9.2 inches.
For SAIC-Volkswagen Tuguan L will also launch a rich lineup of seven-seater models, and the launch of new models will further enhance the coverage of its consumer groups; it is expected that the price of Tuguan L7 seater models will increase by 0.5-10,000 yuan on the basis of the existing five-seater models. The Tuguan L seven-seat version is expected to follow the exterior and interior design of the current Tuguan L, with a 2.0T high / low power engine, a low power version of maximum power 137kW (186PS), and a high power version of maximum power 162kW (220PS), matching a seven-gear dual clutch transmission.
According to the relationship between SAIC-Volkswagen Tuang and Tuang X, the Tuguan X model will be based on Tuguan L and is expected to use hatchback styling design, positioning sedan SUV, or using the same powertrain.
At present, the Lang Yi pure electric version has also been released, and the new car is based on the fuel version of Lang Yi, which is another new energy model launched by SAIC Volkswagen after the mixed version of Tuguan L and Passat, with a range of 278km under NEDC conditions. The long Yi electric version continues the design of the fuel version and makes adjustments in the details in line with its pure tramcar identity. The large-size inverted trapezoidal front grille is painted with white paint and an identity e-Lavida logo is added. The price of the new car is expected to start at about 150000 yuan after the subsidy.
Tuyue Pure Electric version is expected to be mass produced by the end of this year or early next year. In terms of price, with reference to the current price of Tuyue 16.58-223800, it is estimated that the starting price of the electric version is about 200000 yuan. In addition, with reference to the mileage of the 278km under the operating conditions of the long Yi electric version of NEDC, the mileage of the Tuyue electric version of the compact model may be lower than that of the 300km. It is expected that the electric version of Tuyue is not much different from the fuel version of Tuyue. In terms of power, the Tuyue electric version is expected to be equipped with the same power system as the long Yi electric version.
Shanghai Volkswagen plans to complete the launch of as many as five models, which will bring great competitive pressure to other manufacturers, which is also the highlight of Shanghai Volkswagen's new car plan.
