With the introduction of a new software update, the overall charging speed curve seems to be optimized when car owners use the new On-route Battery Warmup (Battery heating on the way) function.

In addition, Tesla has also increased the charging power of existing super charging stations. The maximum charging power has increased from 120 kilowatts to 150 kilowatts. However, after the software upgrade, some car owners can achieve higher charging speed, but the overall charging speed curve does not seem to be optimized.

One of the owners compared the charging power of the Model 3 before and after the software update and found that the charging speed increased by about 20 per cent during the charging process from 5 per cent to 80 per cent.

Earlier, Tesla launched a new Supercharger V3 supercharging station, where Tesla Model 3 can increase the charging power to 250kW. This is a new height for the electric vehicles currently in production.
