The new car was unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show as early as April, and its appearance is not significantly different from the long-axle gasoline version sold in China. Compared with the overseas release of the S560e, the wheelbase of the new car is expected to increase, and the front bumper has also been changed to the same design as the S450L, rather than the AMG style of the overseas version, which looks more stable.

As a new energy model, the new car has a new charging interface on the right side of the rear bumper, and the EQ Power logo is expected to be added to the front fender. Referring to the previously released official chart, it is reported that the trunk space of the new car has also been improved due to the reduction of the size of the battery.

In terms of interior decoration, the new car also continues the interior style of the fuel version, and the new car uses a new dashboard interface. Although the battery capacity of the new car has increased by about 50%, its size has been reduced, and thanks to this, the new car can provide about 410 liters of trunk storage space.

With reference to the overseas dynamic parameters, the 3.0T plug-in system equipped with Mercedes-Benz S 560 eL has a comprehensive maximum power of 350kW, which matches the 9AT gearbox. Among them, 3.0T V6 engine is a high power model, the maximum power is 270kW, and the maximum power of motor is 90kW. The new car is equipped with 13.5kWh lithium battery pack, the maximum mileage in pure electricity mode is 50km, and the fuel consumption is only 2.1L in 100 km.

At present, the price of Mercedes-Benz S-Class on sale in China is 84.28-1.981 million yuan, and the price will be raised after the new car is officially put on the market. Compared with the same class competitors such as BMW 7-Series and Audi A8L, its price range has no advantage, but its brand value and luxury quality are much higher than the former two.
