Wu Jiabi worked at BMW China for 12 years from 2003 to 2014, managing the Asia-Pacific business of BMW's China market access and growth strategy and the MINI brand. From 2014 to 2018, she served as the global chief operating officer of Infiniti in Hong Kong and the global head of sales operations of Nissan Group in Yokohama. In 2018, Wu Jiabi became the head of Audi Automotive Co., Ltd. in mainland China and Hong Kong, and in December 2018, Wu Jiabi also served as Audi Automotive Co., Ltd. China market product project management head.

Wu Jiabi took over Audi's China business and is in the stage of declining sales of Audi, which is a big challenge to her task.

Audi's sales in China fell for the second month in a row, falling 11.5 per cent in April from a year earlier, compared with a 7.4 per cent to 47927 decline in May. Audi's sales in China in the first five months of this year were 253625, down 1.9 per cent from a year earlier.

In the past, the market sales of Audi's old volume models were stable, but the performance after the replacement was not ideal, including Audi Q5, A6L, Q3 and other models. Some analysts believe that Audi terminal concessions tightened, resulting in sales can not boost up. Audi officials say the adverse effects of the upgrading of Audi's A6L and Q3 models continue, and tariff entanglements have added to the uncertainty.

In terms of BBA sales, BMW is growing well this year and is expected to win the championship. Mercedes-Benz still takes the lead, while Audi stalled and slipped from the championship position to third place.

In the first five months of this year, BMW's sales in China reached 288506, up 15.9% from a year earlier, slightly behind Mercedes-Benz in second place. Mercedes-Benz is basically flat compared with last year, with cumulative sales of 287639 vehicles in China in the first five months, an increase of 1.6% over the same period last year, ranking first in the first-tier luxury formation.

Audi stalled this year, the replacement of new car sales are not as expected, product power did not surprise the market, if there is no room for market discounts, sales are expected to fall. Some analysts believe that after withdrawing from the identity of the official car, Audi's brand premium has been lower than that of that year.
