In response to this problem, BYD insiders immediately confirmed the news, saying that it was an adaptive adjustment according to the production situation. Later, BYD said that this is a short-term behavior in the off-season of production and that everything in the company is operating normally.

Data show that Guangzhou Guangzhou Automobile BYD New Energy bus Co., Ltd. is jointly funded by BYD Automobile Company and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 300 million yuan. BYD and GAC GROUP will inject capital by stages according to 51% and 49% of the shares, respectively.

Guangzhou BYD mainly produces BYD electric buses. According to the winning bid of Guangzhou bus in 2018, the order amount of BYD's pure electric bus project in Guangzhou in 2018 exceeded 5.5 billion yuan. They won the bidding projects of "3138 2018" and "1672 2018" pure electric buses respectively.
