Among them, the Shanghai software team reported to Zhou Xin, vice president of enterprise development at NIO, and also to Li Bin.

Li Bin will directly manage the software business, according to people familiar with the matter.

According to the data, Zhuang Li is a Grade 96 student in the computer Science Department of Tsinghua University. Zhuang Li received her doctorate from Berkeley University in 2008. Before joining Lulai, Zhuang Li was vice president of cheetah mobile engineering.

In July 2016, Zhuang Li joined NIO as vice president of software development (China), in charge of software development in China.

After the launch of the first model ES8 in June 2018, due to imperfect software development, there were a series of failure conditions, such as crash, black screen and so on.
