According to the data, Zhuang Li is a Grade 96 student in the computer Science Department of Tsinghua University. Zhuang Li received her doctorate from Berkeley University in 2008. Before joining Lulai, Zhuang Li was vice president of cheetah mobile engineering.

In July 2016, Zhuang Li joined NIO as vice president of software development (China), in charge of software development in China.
