On April 23, a major death and injury accident occurred in Xi'an caused by the acceleration of BYD Tang New Energy Vehicle. The accident caused concern because the owner of BYD Tang DM expressed "vehicle out of control, brake failure". BYD Auto officials said they would fully cooperate with the traffic police investigation to deal with the matter.
