Subsequently, CCTV also visited the manufacturing plant of low-speed electric cars in Dezhou, Shandong Province, and found that the car was built with a shed, and there was no safety crash test.

At a low-speed electric car manufacturer in Wucheng County, Dezhou City, workers are assembling electric cars by hand. A sales manager said that the vehicle is currently in the commissioning stage, if there is an order, they can be mass produced at any time.

These "elderly walkers", which way should they go? What card should I hang? Should the driver be qualified to drive? At present, there are no clear local or national standards. It was originally a substitute for the elderly to travel, but it has become a wayward "road killer". So who should be in charge? How do you manage it? This is a problem that we urgently need to solve.

Shandong is a major manufacturer of low-speed electric vehicles, and in December last year, the Shandong provincial government issued opinions on strengthening the management of low-speed electric vehicles, pointing out that the phase-out of low-speed electric vehicles should be accelerated. The management opinion points out that a three-year transition period should be set to encourage the accelerated phase-out of low-speed electric vehicles in use by means of replacement, repurchase, scrapping, etc.; new production capacity of low-speed electric vehicles is strictly prohibited; new models of low-speed electric vehicles are stopped; clean-up and rectification of low-speed electric vehicle production enterprises are carried out.

However, now the vulgar electric cars, which are running rampant and unqualified on the road, really need to be rectified.
