Tesla, a luxury electric model, didn't make the list because the company doesn't publish monthly results. Tesla said it delivered 95,200 new vehicles in the second quarter, almost double the 40,740 delivered in the same period last year, setting a new quarterly delivery record.
Among the rest of the luxury brands, there are also many monthly sales declines, among which Audi sold 9,409 vehicles a month, down 0.3% year-on-year; Acura fell 16.4% year-on-year; Infiniti has seen sales decline for several consecutive months, down 8% last month; Land Rover and Jaguar also fell 5.6% and 19.6% respectively; Alfa Romeo sales fell sharply, down 29.1% year-on-year; Maserati fell 2.6% year-on-year.
