Statistics show that Honda sold 148382 vehicles in China in June, up 37.4% from a year earlier, setting a new record for domestic sales in June. In the first half of 2019, the two companies' terminal sales totaled 745409 vehicles, up 22.4% from a year earlier.

Among them, GAC Honda sold 65340 vehicles in the month, up 6.6% from the same period last year; in the first half of the year, terminal sales totaled 380605 vehicles, up 12.7% from the same period last year. Dongfeng Honda sold 83042 vehicles in June, a year-on-year increase of 77.9%. Cumulative sales in the first half of the year reached 364804, up 34.4% from the same period last year and continued to maintain a strong growth momentum.

With such excellent sales data, there must be the support of best-selling models. Among them, Dongfeng Honda, CR-V, Civic, XR-V monthly sales are more than 10, 000, Civic, CR-V monthly sales can even exceed 20, 000. In addition, Guangzhou Auto Honda's ten-generation Accord, Feido, Ling Pai and other three models are also popular models, with monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units.

Civic as the sales responsibility of Dongfeng Honda, the impact of the new Civic from the change buffer period is not large, the terminal delivery speed is faster. After the launch of the new Civic, sales are booming, and some models still have to wait more than a month to pick up the car. While the products are recognized by users, it also poses a great challenge to Dongfeng Honda's production capacity.

Although the performance of cars is good, the source of Dongfeng Honda's sales growth is the hot sales of SUV models. CR-V sold more than 20, 000 vehicles in June this year, including 3305 hybrid terminals, an increase of 86.4% over the same period last year. The hybrid version of CR-V, which is also the world's leading hybrid technology, is excellent in ride comfort, fuel economy, power response and other aspects, and has been fully recognized by the market.

Accord, Feido and Lingpai three models monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles, the performance is more eye-catching. It is worth mentioning that Accord Rui hybrid sales of 2648 vehicles in June, an increase of 202.6% over the same period last year, has become one of the hallmarks of user recognition of the brand's hybrid products.

Prior to this, cash Feido national five emission models in Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou and other six provinces and regions since July 1, 2019, all models are no longer accepted for booking, and no longer sell Feido models, until manufacturers launch new models. As the implementation of national six emissions in Beijing is on January 1, 2020, the current Honda Feido will continue to be sold.

However, Guangzhou Auto Honda has launched a number of new cars, including the new avant-garde, the new colorful wisdom and the Odyssey hybrid. In the second half of this year, the brand will continue to launch new cars to enrich the product matrix, including the new generation of Feido and the new medium-sized SUV.

Honda's monthly sales have been growing positively since 2019. Judging from Honda's market performance, it is hard to imagine that the domestic car market is in a "cold winter". Honda's stable reputation for many years, its leading powertrain and the continuous introduction of competitive models can be said to be the reasons for the outbreak of sales.
