From July 1 to 3, the 2019 World New Energy vehicle Congress (WNEVC) was solemnly held in Boao, Hainan. At the theme summit entitled "Strategic transformation and innovative development of global automakers", Hyundai CEO Li Heyi said: Hyundai began to focus on the research and development of new energy vehicles in 1997, and for the first time in the world to produce HEV, EV and PHEV new energy vehicles on the same platform. We plan to launch more than 44 new energy vehicles by 2025, so we are developing a new electric vehicle brand, EGMP, which will be completed in 2020. Hyundai Motor Group released the 2030 vision of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and launched a target of producing and selling 500000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles a year. In China, Hyundai Automobile has cooperated with Tsinghua Industrial Park to set up a hydrogen energy fund to actively cultivate the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry chain.

Hyundai and Kia brand products in the field of new energy cover BEV, HEV, PHEV and FCEV. Joint ventures in China are more likely to localize the technology reserves in the field of new energy. At present, the overall layout of EV,HEV,PHEV has been realized in China, and FCEV will be introduced in the follow-up. Hyundai Kia will launch a total of 44 new electric cars by 2025. Among them, four models will go on sale in the second half of this year, and the pure electric SUV-- Onchino EV will be launched domestically in August.

The lead PHEV power is equipped with 1.6L hybrid system, in which the maximum power of the engine is 77.2kW, the maximum power of the motor is 44.5kW, the peak torque is 170N ·m, and the comprehensive fuel consumption is only 1.0L per 100 km, which is lower than that of Toyota Carola double engine E + 100km. In terms of pure electric mileage, the car can reach 85km, which is currently the longest plug-in car in China.

Anxino EV is the first pure electric SUV under Beijing Hyundai, which is similar to the gasoline version in appearance. In power, the motor with the maximum power of 150kW is installed, and it is speculated that the peak torque of the motor is 394N ·m and the capacity of the battery pack is 64kWh. The maximum mileage of the overseas version of the car is 300 and 470km respectively, while the range of the domestic Onchino EV is raised directly to 500km.

The Festa EV is expected to use the same power as the Onchino EV, but the car will pay more attention to the ride comfort of the rear passengers and will adopt a new battery pack arrangement, thus affecting the mileage performance, which will be slightly shorter than the Onchino EV and is expected to be around the 400km. After its launch, the new car will compete with joint venture cars such as Xuanyi Pure Electric and Lang Yi Pure Electric.

The new K3 gasoline version has been officially launched in May this year, and the cumulative sales have exceeded 10,000. In July, a new plug-in hybrid model will be added to the new K3 car series, which will be equipped with 1.6L plug-in hybrid system, with a minimum fuel consumption of 1L per 100 km and a pure electric mileage of 80km. In the compact car field, the joint venture brand does not have more volume models, the car's direct competitor is Toyota Corolla / Leiling dual engine E+. In terms of product parameters, the new K3 PHEV has a great advantage in terms of comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 km and pure electric mileage.

Generally speaking, electrification has been the development direction of the domestic automobile industry, more and more automobile enterprises enter the new energy field, and gradually expand the product lineup. There is no doubt that a new era of China's new energy automobile industry is about to begin. Hyundai and Kia are the leading brands in the industry and have completed the layout of HEV+PHEV+BEV models in China. After the launch of 44 new cars, with more high-quality joint venture brand product quality, as well as cost-effective advantages, will rapidly increase the share in the field of new energy vehicles.
