AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)07/08 Report--

At the 2019 World New Energy Conference, Wang Yisong, deputy director of the quality Development Bureau of the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, said that as of May, 123000 new energy vehicles had been recalled in China. Among these recalled vehicles, 50% had three-electricity system failures and 40% had brake system defects.

In addition, by the end of April 19, the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration had received a total of 427 new energy vehicle defect clues, involving 38 automakers and a total of 61 models. Among them, charging failure and battery attenuation are the main causes of complaints, and the proportion of complaints is 15% and 55% respectively.

The battery problem of new energy vehicles has always been the primary concern of consumers. A series of spontaneous combustion incidents have pushed the safety issues of new energy vehicles to the forefront, increasing consumers' concerns about the safety of new energy vehicles.

In May this year, China's new energy passenger car market reached 97000 wholesale vehicles, up 5.4% from the same period last year and 5.8% from the previous month, according to data from the Federation of passengers. The cumulative sales of new energy passenger vehicles in China from January to May were 442000, an increase of 58 per cent over the same period last year. It means that the development momentum of new energy vehicles is rising, and the domestic demand for new energy vehicles is growing. Under the background of the rapid development of new energy vehicle industry, automobile companies should face up to the problems faced by new energy vehicles at present. Even Tesla, the "leading brother" of the industry, has frequently exposed incidents of car spontaneous combustion. A group of new car-building forces in China have not developed new energy sources for a short time, and it is hoped that they must pass various full safety tests before launching new models, so as to avoid semi-finished products that "get ducks on the shelves".
