The new car mainly focuses on the optimization and improvement of appearance, interior decoration and blue sky technology, and the power is still equipped with 2.0L and 2.5L naturally aspirated engines.

On July 10, FAW Mazda held the launch of the new product of Attaz, and the new and improved Atz model was unveiled. The new car follows the design of the overseas version of Mazda 6, and still uses the concept of "soul movement". The area of the front grille increases and the horizontal chrome strip changes into a star net, on a par with the CX-5. The rest of the changes in appearance are not obvious, headlights, taillights have small changes.

The size of the car body does not change much, the length, width and height are 4870/1840/1451mm and the wheelbase is 2830mm. The new Atez 2.0L model has 17-inch wheels and the 2.5L model has 19-inch wheels, all with a bilateral exhaust layout.

The overall layout of the interior has not changed much, and the new car retains the original design style. The official introduction is to strengthen the materials, optimize and improve the sound insulation problems widely complained by Chinese users, as well as improve comfort.

In terms of power, the new Atez continues to carry 2.0L and 2.5L in-line four-cylinder naturally aspirated engines to meet the national VI emission standards, the specific parameters have not been announced, and the transmission system is still a six-speed manual integrated gearbox.

In addition to the word "sports" advertised by Mazda, the official definition is "fashionable extravagance". The price is not expected to be close to the people. The current price of Atez, which is on sale, is 17.58-237800 yuan. In fact, Mazda hopes to improve its brand image through continuous value marketing, referring to CX-8, another domestic model of Mazda in China, which is officially priced at 25.88-330000 yuan.

Competitors have already completed upgrading, slow half-beat Mazda is always late, resulting in insufficient competitiveness of the product market, sales continue to decline, timely improvement, optimization and update is necessary. The general style of the new Atz has not changed, and the rest of the improvements have yet to be tested by the market.

Data show that Mazda sold 106345 units in China from January to June, down 27% from 145842 in the same period last year.
