But the bigger crisis for BYD is that sales of plug-in hybrids and fuel vehicles continue to decline, and although new energy vehicles have risen, they may not be able to support BYD's sales.

The first half of the year has passed, and various car companies have released their transcripts one after another. According to BYD officials, BYD sold 223000 vehicles in the first half of the year, basically the same as the same period last year, up 1.59% from the same period last year, including 146000 new energy models, up 94.5% from the same period last year, accounting for 65.3% of total sales.

In fact, there are still a lot of unspeakable secrets behind the report card that seems to be counted. BYD's sales in the first half of the year were the same as those in the same period of the year, and sales of new energy vehicles rose sharply, so sales of hybrid and fuel vehicles are bound to decline. What is more obvious is that at present, the main force of the domestic automobile industry is still fuel vehicles, especially the car brands whose sales have greatly increased, which are still mostly fuel vehicles. Although it is said to gradually promote the development of new energy vehicles, but the winter of fuel vehicles will not come soon, except for some mandatory cities. For a long time to come, automakers will try their best to build fuel vehicles while developing new energy vehicles.

But this is not the case for BYD, which has long focused on new energy vehicles or electric cars. Take electric cars, for example, BYD's electric cars are said to be very good and far-fetched. Compared with Xiaopeng Motor, Yweilai Motor does not have any advantages, but BYD is an established manufacturer with strength and technical reserves, but that is the case.

Compared with the above two brands, the new energy vehicles of traditional automakers such as BAIC and BYD are sold to taxis, ride-hailing and other industries, so sales seem to be large, not that these are useless, but as automotive products, if you can't get into the home user, it's easy to be replaced by other products.

It is not uncommon for BYD to have low sales of fuel vehicles. In the past, there may be F3, but now the sales of fuel cars are only 82000, which is equivalent to the Xiliang of Geely and other car companies for a month. Once the new energy vehicles change, then BYD's sales will fall sharply.

Wang Chuanfu proposed on different occasions to ban the sale of fuel cars as soon as possible, presumably taking into account the current situation of BYD. The sales of BYD Renyi Village is low, and the development of new energy vehicles is fragmented, but the base is small and the change is big. If fuel vehicles are allowed to develop, then BYD's sales of new energy vehicles will be dragged down slowly. This is the problem.

Therefore, we can see that the sales volume of BYD increased in the first half of the year, but it is still full of crises.
