A few days ago, Ferrari Automobile International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products.

Recall models:

From October 10, 2019, some imported 458 Speciale A, California T, 488 GTB and 488 Spider series vehicles manufactured during the period from 27 August 2015 to 9 January 2018 will be recalled.

Reasons for recall:

Due to the manufacturing reasons of the supplier, the airbag electronic control unit may have internal power failure, which may cause the airbag and seat belt pretensioner to be disabled and light the airbag warning light on the instrument panel; or it may cause the airbag and seat belt pretensioner to unfold and start accidentally, thus increasing the risk of injury to the occupants or the possibility of vehicle accidents, which may cause safety risks.

Recall scheme:

Ferrari International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will replace the improved airbag electronic control unit for vehicles within the recall range free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
