On June 28, a Ms. Pan in Hangzhou bought a Mercedes-Benz A200L with a price of 250000 at Zhongsheng Xinghong Mercedes-Benz 4S store. According to Ms. Pan, she chose the car because of its technological interiors, and what she likes most is this oversized display screen. But on the fifth day after picking up the car, the screen went black.

Ms. Pan said she was ready to start the car, but as soon as it was started, the entire display screen was not displayed. Because the vehicle display screen is integrated with the speedometer and on-board control, the vehicle black screen cannot display any information about the vehicle at that time. For a moment, Ms. Pan was at a loss and had to call a trailer to take the car back to the 4S store.

After the test of the 4S store, the plan given by the store is to replace a brand new display screen for Ms. Pan for free, but Ms. Pan disagrees. Ms. Pan said that it was good for her to start the car at home at that time, and if she was driving on the highway, the screen would suddenly go black, and the consequences would be unimaginable, so she asked the 4S store to change cars.

During the inspection of the 4S store, Ms. Pan started the vehicle again, and the vehicle screen returned to normal, which also surprised Ms. Pan, but she was very worried about whether the vehicle was good or bad, and how to ensure its safety.

With regard to this problem, the service manager of the Mercedes-Benz 4S store also said that this was due to the electronic screen and admitted that there was a quality problem with the vehicle's screen. Although the electronic display screen has returned to normal, the 4S store says it is willing to replace the screen for Ms. Pan for safety reasons, but Ms. Pan insists that changing the screen will not allay her concerns or potential security concerns.

The 4S store said that even if the vehicle goes black again, there will be no safety risks, and it is not up to the standard to replace the vehicle. As an apology, Ms. Pan is willing to give Ms. Pan two free maintenance, but Ms. Pan is still unable to accept it, and the two sides are still in negotiation.
