AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)07/15 Report--
Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Since August 26,2019, a total of 57200 imported Cayenne and Panamera cars have been recalled.
(1) A total of 11515 partially imported Cayenne (Cayenne) series cars of 2009-2010 produced between July 7, 2008 and February 5, 2010.
(II) Some imported 2010-2016 Panamera series cars produced from August 21, 2009 to September 13, 2016, totaling 45685 vehicles.
For vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to insufficient durability of transmission shift cable bushing, shift cable may be loosened from fixed position, resulting in driver unable to engage correct gear. If parking brake is not applied when driver engages P gear for parking, vehicle may still move under extreme circumstances, which cannot exclude the risk of personal injury or vehicle collision, resulting in potential safety hazard. Porsche (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will entrust authorized Porsche Centres nationwide to replace the improved transmission shift cable bushings free of charge for vehicles in the scope of recall to eliminate safety hazards. Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will notify the relevant owner by registered letter, etc.
