According to reports, Xilai is about to spin off its energy supply service NIO Power, seeking to complete independent financing in Q4 this year, with a scale of about billions of yuan. The project, led by Li Bin, founder, chairman and CEO of Lulai, as well as Qin Lihong, president of Lulai, and Shen Fei, vice president of power management of Lulai, may be launched as an independent APP in the next 2 months. At the same time, NIO Power will change its name, and the final name has not yet been determined.

People familiar with the matter also revealed that NIO Power currently has a team of thousands of people and has opened services in major cities in the Chinese mainland region.

Industry insiders believe that this may be a way for Lulai to ease the financial pressure.

According to officials, NIO Power is a power-up solution based on the mobile Internet, with a widely distributed network of charging facilities, relying on NIOyun technology to provide users with more exclusive power-up and one-click power-up experience than expected, making power-up more convenient than refueling.

NIO Power includes exclusive charging piles, overcharging piles, one-button power-up service, power station change and Xilai charging car.

According to Xilai's sales figures, 1340 vehicles were delivered in June, compared with 927 for ES8 and 413 for ES6. A total of 18890 vehicles have been delivered so far.
