It is understood that the car has been scheduled and will start production in 2020. Officials also said that the Lutes Evija is the first heavyweight new product in the revival of the Lutes brand after the acquisition of Geely Holdings, and hopes to use the pure electric supercar to create a new benchmark for Lutes in sports driving technology.

Evija means "vitality" or "founder", which is a very appropriate name for Lutes, who is currently in the process of brand renaissance. As the world's first British all-electric supercar, Evija continues Lutes' history of innovation, marking the birth of Lutes' new design language. The new car is designed with holes and a low body with exaggerated broken-line laser headlights, bringing a strong super-running style to Evija.

In terms of appearance, Lutes Evija uses a design concept called LO, with a large number of holes in the whole body, highlighting the unique three-dimensional and sculptural sense of the vehicle. The high-raised front eyebrows on both sides of the front are domineering with fierce laser headlights; the logo is made of metal and carbon fiber and provides personalized customization.

The rear shape of the car body is unique, and the exaggerated irregular polygonal light belt with concave design has a sense of science fiction in the future. The length, width and height of the new car are 4459/2000/1122mm and the chassis height is 105mm.

The airflow channel at the rear of the car is decorated with a red light belt, which is very eye-catching. The turn indicator is integrated into the outer lower edge of the lamp belt, while the reversing light is also served by the glowing letter T in the LOTUS English logo above the charging cover. At the same time, Lutes is also good at lightweight design to apply to the Evija model, the new car uses a large number of carbon fiber kits, the quality is only 1680kg.

In the interior part, the car adopts a very simple design. The suspended crossbeam runs through the cockpit, and the integrated configuration also plays a supporting role to the vehicle. The digital display in front of the steering wheel can display the basic information in the car and link with the mobile phone. Seats are a common two-seat layout of a sports car, with carbon fiber construction and private customized metal logos, adding a bit of character to the sports car.

According to officials, the all-electric supercar aims to achieve 2000 horsepower and peak torque of 1700 Nm, with an acceleration time of less than 3 seconds and a top speed of up to 320km/h. In terms of battery and battery life, the Evija will be equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 70kWh, which will provide 400km with pure electric mileage under WLTP conditions, and it will take only 18 minutes to recharge from 0% to 100% using a 350kW charging pile.

After being acquired by Geely Holdings, Lutes brought the first heavyweight product in its revival process to achieve the integration of new energy technology and racing genes. Lutes also said that pure electric supercar will become the brand flagship image of Lutes Elise, Exige and Evora models, and provide the core idea for the design and development of Lutes' new high-performance luxury products.
