AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)07/21 Report--
If you ask what car saves fuel and what car maintains its value, many consumers will say Toyota and Volkswagen. Indeed, after operating in China for so many years, these two brands have laid a solid foundation, which is beyond the reach of many brands. however, there is another Japanese brand whose fuel-saving performance and durability are not inferior to that of Toyota. However, due to the rarity in the market, it is gradually ignored by people, having to break up with Changan and launch the Chinese market = market, it is Suzuki.
Suzuki began its journey into the Chinese market by providing technology to China for the first time in 1984. Changan Suzuki was established as a joint venture with Changan Automobile in 1993. During the period of reform and opening up, Suzuki cars can be seen everywhere in China, and its Otto, antelope and Tianyu are all overheated queuing to buy cars. However, with the emergence of joint venture brands and independent brands, Suzuki's product renewal speed has lagged far behind the needs of the Chinese market, so it was quickly eliminated by the Chinese market. On August 23, 2018, Suzuki officially announced the termination of its joint venture relationship with Changan Automobile. Changan Automobile bought 50% of Changan Suzuki held by Japanese enterprises for 1 yuan, and Changan Suzuki will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Changan Automobile from a Sino-Japanese joint venture. It will also mean that Japan's Suzuki will withdraw from the Chinese market.
Withdrawal from the Chinese market does not mean that the product is not strong. Vitra, for example, consumers think highly of the car. After the introduction of China, the modified Suzuki reduced its body size to a small SUV and has cross-country capabilities. Penetrate the front face, add a black decoration board to embellish, connect with the headlights on both sides, match the huge bumper, combine with the circular fog light area on both sides, add a lot of fierce flavor. The lines of the car body are relatively simple, and the top of the hood is outlined with raised ribs to reflect a stronger sense of power.
In terms of lighting, except for the lowest two configurations are halogen lamps, the rest of the models are LED far and near lights. The side is a rising waistline, the bottom is decorated with silver, and the two-color multi-frame sports wheels are quite attractive.
In terms of power, the Muvetra, which provides a 1.4T turbocharged engine combined with a six-gear manual integrated transmission, sounds mediocre, but very mature and reliable, its power parameters can reach 107kW, torque 224nm and 143hp, for its 100km fuel consumption is only 5.4L, for such a data can be said to be a typical low-displacement high-horsepower car. It takes only 8.4 seconds to drive at a speed of 100 kilometers.
And Suzuki's Vitra intelligent all-wheel drive is different from those of the same class who are only equipped with a four-wheel-drive lock button, it designs a mode selection dial, which provides four intelligent modes: automatic, sports, snow and locking. Daily driving usually chooses automatic mode, once the road is wet and the rear wheel slips, the vehicle will automatically allocate more power to the rear wheel, thereby improving stability and passing capacity.
But what makes people helpless is that this car does not perform very well in terms of space. its size is relatively compact, and the space inside the car appears to be narrow, which has always been a common fault of Suzuki cars, and this problem continues to this day. a big reason why Suzuki is not very popular with consumers.
