In fact, it is exposed that not only Hangzhou Changjiang Motor, but also its affiliated companies, including Guizhou Changjiang and Chengdu Changjiang, are in arrears. On July 5, dozens of employees of the Yangtze River in Guizhou Province held up banners in front of the Guizhou Yangtze River Company to ask for their wages, and then received three months' wages.

In addition to defaulting on employees' wages, Cheung Kong Motor also owes its suppliers loans. According to Qixinbao, Hangzhou Yangtze River has received a number of complaints this year, many of which are contractual disputes over defaulting on loans to parts suppliers, including molds, car interiors, metal materials, car air conditioners and so on.

Some suppliers and employees said that at present, the production of Hangzhou Changjiang Automobile has been at a standstill and has been suspended for more than a year. However, the person in charge of Hangzhou Changjiang Automobile disagreed with the idea of stopping production, saying that the company has a batch of orders for commercial vehicles in production, and the passenger car workshop is currently working for zero-running cars, all of which are in normal operation.

As early as the beginning of this year, when Zero Auto's first production car, S01, was put on the market, it was announced that it had signed a contract manufacturing agreement with Changjiang Automobile, which became a typical case of new car-building forces acting as contract manufacturers for each other.

However, sales of zero-running cars are not large at present. On June 28, zero-running cars officially wanted the first batch of car owners to deliver 10 zero-running S01, and said that this year's new car sales will reach 10,000.

But even with the production of 10, 000 vehicles, Hangzhou Changjiang Motor, which has a capacity of 100000 vehicles, still has a lot of spare capacity. Hangzhou Changjiang Automobile is also looking for a way out. In May this year, Hangzhou Changjiang signed a contract with Shandong Hantang Electric vehicle Technology, but the cooperation with Hantang has not yet begun and is in the state of preparation.

The reason for being able to contract manufacturing for other car brands is that Changjiang Motor has the new energy dual qualifications approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, but even with dual qualifications, Changjiang Automobile frequently marries others.

In fact, as early as 2016, Changjiang launched a small SUV, and then unveiled at the Beijing auto show of the three concept cars, so far have not seen these models in mass production.

In response to this, the person in charge of Changjiang Automobile said that at present, passenger cars are in a state of preparation and are waiting for the right time, and they are still mainly commercial vehicles.

Looking back on the past life and this life of Changjiang Automobile, there are scenery and troughs.

The predecessor of Hangzhou Changjiang Automobile was Hangzhou Changjiang bus Co., Ltd., which was listed in 1996. The company was finally on the verge of bankruptcy and was forced to stop production. In 2013, Wulong Electric vehicle invested to reorganize Hangzhou Changjiang bus Co., Ltd., and renamed Hangzhou Changjiang Automobile Co., Ltd. It is worth noting that Li Ka-shing has repeatedly increased his stake in Wulong electric vehicles to become the third shareholder. with the blessing of Li Ka-shing, Wulong Electric vehicles invested in the construction of Guizhou Yangtze River production base in 2016 and is betting on the electric vehicle industry.

But even with Li Ka-shing's stake, the performance of Wulong electric car is not ideal. According to relevant data, Wulong Electric vehicles lost money for seven consecutive years from 2011 to 2017, while Li Ka-shing gradually reduced its stake in Wulong Electric vehicles.

In addition to Li Ka-shing, there is also car rental in China. In July 2018, Shenzhou car rental planned to subscribe for 9 billion shares of Wulong electric vehicles at a price of HK $0.06 per share, but there has been no real news since then.

However, after the NDRC criticized Jiangxi for overheating new energy investment this year, local governments began to change their attitude towards new car-building powers. according to relevant revelations, the government of Gui'an New District may adjust the new energy project of Guizhou Changjiang Automobile.
