GM's president said that the suspension of the car is due to cost considerations, GM's current focus is pure electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles because of the high cost of carrying two systems.

Relevant data show that under the positive influence of GM's Volt system, the brand image of most Americans has changed from multi-purpose sports vehicles and pickups to flexible civilian cars. So far, Vlot system is still widely spread in the American automobile industry.

In 2019, in order to promote the electrification process, GM laid off staff, plant closures and production restrictions occurred frequently, and now it is going against the road, eliminating the hybrid model production line. At this stage, automakers such as Honda, Toyota, Ford and Porsche are driving hybrid cars, and GM's move could have a significant impact on global sales in 2019.
