Tesla's three spontaneous Combustion incidents in China in half a year
According to the time sequence of spontaneous combustion events, a Tesla Model S spontaneously ignited in the underground garage of Huijing New Town District, Tianhe District, Guangzhou on March 26th. A Tesla car burst into flames after suddenly emitting white smoke in the underground garage of Taide Huayuan District, Yude Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai. On May 12, a Model S caught fire about half an hour after parking at San Po Kong Plaza in Hong Kong.
Two months after the incident, Tesla made an official response to the Shanghai spontaneous combustion incident, which said that "through a large number of in-depth investigations of batteries, software, manufacturing data and vehicle historical data", he concluded that there were "no defects in the distribution system" and said that "it is preliminarily determined that the individual accident was caused by a single battery module failure located in the front of the vehicle."
The relevant words of apology and compensation were not mentioned in the statement, which quickly caused dissatisfaction in the market, and some netizens directly compared Xilai with Tesla, believing that after the spontaneous combustion incident, Tesla quickly issued a recall, launched an investigation and announced the specific cause of the fire, while Tesla's statement was even more irrelevant.
On June 27th, Xilai issued a recall statement, which clearly described the specific cause of the accident, and issued the first car recall of its new car-building force, announcing the recall of a total of 4803 ES8 vehicles, replacing batteries free of charge and compensating users for property loss.

Tesla adjusted the price of his products seven times in 14 months.
Like Tesla's spontaneous combustion incident, Tesla's repeated price adjustments to the products also quickly attracted market attention.
Tesla adjusted the prices of his three models on sale, including the Model 3 from $322265 to $30315, while Model S and Model X raised prices, Model S from $65125 to $70115, and Model X from $71325 to $75315.

According to relevant information, on March 7, 2019, Tesla Shanghai Super Factory started construction, which integrates R & D, manufacturing, sales and other functions, and is expected to have an annual production capacity of 500000 pure electric vehicles.
On July 2, the Shanghai Development and Reform Commission told the Tesla project that the project is progressing smoothly and that the overall plant construction has been basically completed, entering the stage of installation of production equipment and putting into production by the end of the year.
Notably, Mr Musk said on June 12th that Tesla was likely to build more production plants in China, given the size of the Chinese market.
In this regard, Ren Wanfu holds a different view. Tesla will not increase factory construction in China for the time being. The first phase of the construction of the Shanghai super factory has not yet been completed, and the second phase of construction has not yet begun. 500000 capacity is enough for Tesla to meet production in a few years.
