On July 26th, the first vehicle of FAW-Volkswagen A-SUV Coupe project was officially launched in FAW-Volkswagen North China production Base (Tianjin Branch). The car is a mass-produced version of the FAW-Volkswagen SUV Coupe concept car, as well as a sedan version of the mountain exploration.

In terms of appearance, the overall layout of the new car is basically consistent with the cash exploration, still using the family-style front face design, but the lower shape is different, the area of the air intake becomes larger, its three-stage air intake design is very in line with the R-line sports style of the public, compared with the current mountain exploration is more exaggerated and atmospheric. The exaggerated fog lamp openings on both sides of the front also further enhance the sense of movement of the whole vehicle.

On the side of the car, the biggest difference between the mountain exploration Coupe and the current mountain exploration is the slip-back design, with smooth lines on the roof with sloping rear windows, which clearly tells you that it is a sedan SUV. On the side of the car, a smooth waistline running from the front to the rear makes Janyue Coupe look full of sports. The length, width and height of the Tanyue Coupe are 4586/1860/1635mm and the wheelbase is 2731mm. Although it uses the shape of a slippery back, the interior space of the car does not seem to be reduced much.

In the rear part of the car, the rear surround design of Tanyue Coupe is wild, and the spoiler and bilateral exhaust layout on the roof all confirm the sports identity of Tanyue Coupe. The taillight of the new car uses a LED ribbon design, which is very recognizable when lit.

Taking into account the positioning of the model, Tanyue Coupe will not supply 1.4T models, all equipped with 2.0T high-power engine, equipped with 7-speed wet double clutch transmission, the maximum power is 162kw, the maximum torque is 350Nm, some high-end models will also provide 4motor four-wheel drive system. With reference to the price of the 2.0T model, the starting price of the Tanyue Coupe will be more than 200000 yuan.
