It is undeniable that PSA is very sincere to the Chinese market, and is from the consumer's point of view. The previous Peugeot 505 and Fukang are representatives, listed at the same time as the European market, and few joint venture brands can do this. In other words, Peugeot has a lot of excellent products, but the poor sales caused by Peugeot is not in the product quality, but in the sales system, it is not a good understanding of the Chinese market from the very beginning.

For PSA, there will be a good harvest in other markets and a good harvest in the Chinese market. Of course, this wrong idea has finally been verified. Even if synchronized with the European market, but many accessories are very expensive, resulting in the cost of the whole vehicle is much higher than the same class of vehicles, resulting in sluggish sales, which is the first problem Peugeot encountered in the market.

In order to deal with this problem, Peugeot has made corresponding adjustments, and Peugeot 508L is a good example. In March and April of this year, the sales of this car were 606 and 506 respectively, which obviously did not meet expectations, but the car attracted a lot of consumers' attention and discussion before it was put on the market. I thought the car would have a good result, but after it came to market, consumers abandoned Peugeot again.

At first, PAS set an annual sales target of 20, 000 for the Peugeot 508L. Sales in China are only Accord's one month, and to some extent, Peugeot doesn't have much confidence in the car. In fact, this car compared with the same class of cars will not be so bad, the price is more close to the people, but sales are still depressed.

First of all, the configuration is a fatal problem, as an intermediate car, the use of low-equipped double airbags. Secondly, the sellers of this car do not have much enthusiasm. The shops are basically low-equipped cars, while high-equipped cars need to be picked up separately. The reason is that since the car was launched with no tasks and no rewards, the salespeople will not pay too much attention to the car.

Thus it can be seen that if Peugeot wants to have a good market in China, then what needs to be improved is not only the products, but also the entire sales system. If this is not changed, it will be difficult to survive under the current siege of independent brands and joint venture brands, and it will be sooner or later to withdraw from the Chinese market.
