It can be seen that the situation of Zhongtai Automobile is not very good now, but there is an assistant behind Zhongtai Automobile, that is, the Iron Niu Group.

In recent years, the Junma and Hanteng brands derived from Zhongtai Group, and even the upcoming Hanlong, actually play a real role not in Zhongtai, but in Tieniu Group.

According to data, in 1992, Tieniu was just a machinery factory for motorcycle accessories and hardware parts, but later it happened but did not support it, seized the opportunity and began to manufacture cars, tractor accessories, click products, and so on. After several years of development, the original hardware factory has become a large-scale local manufacturing group, that is, Tieniu Group.

After 2000, many private enterprises began to build cars, such as Lifan, Geely, BYD and so on. And Tieniu also wanted to enter the car-building industry, so in 2003 it cost everyone to buy shares in Jinma, and quickly set up Zhongtai holding Group Co., Ltd. But even if you set up a company, you have no experience in building a car. In 2004, the production line of Toyota Terry models in Taiwan was sold to the outside world, but Zhongtai executives directly packed away Toyota's special production line, equipment, moulds and skilled workers, and everything was ready to build the car.

In 2005, 30 Zhongtai 2008 cars were officially off the line, but they could not be sold because they were not qualified to build cars. In the end, Zhongtai 2008 was listed and sold under the name of Dazhongtai by borrowing the qualification of Xindi Automobile Co., Ltd. Build your own car and put on the name of others.

Tieniu Group as a giant across the industry for many years, its business includes real vehicle sales, key retail volume, new energy vehicles, real estate development and investment management.

Zhongtai, as we know it, is just the tip of the iceberg of the Iron Niu Group, which has a total of five car brands. Let's take a look at these car brands:

Jiangnan brand

In 2007, Zhang Fengxia, who worked in Tieniu Group, successfully acquired 70% of the shares yesterday and today, and got the coveted qualification to build a car. According to public data, Jiangnan Automobile was founded in 1980. In terms of passenger cars, Jiangnan has obtained the authorization of Suzuki Otto to produce Jiangnan Otto models. After Zhongtai settled in, this Jiangnan TT was changed to continue to sell, but it did not revive the Jiangnan brand, and the original model has been suspended for many years, so many people have no impression of this brand.

Zhongtai brand

After Zhongtai got the qualification of Jiangnan Automobile, they put up their own brand. In 2009, Zhongtai sold more than 100000 vehicles, such as 2008Universe 5008 bought from Toyota, Jiangnan Otto, Fiat's Langrui and so on. In the early stage, it received good sales results and started the brand. Later, Zhongtai went farther and farther along this road and was finally disliked by consumers. From then on, we had to find another way out.

Hanteng brand

Hanteng Motor was founded at the end of 2013, formerly known as Blue Road Motor, and now Hanteng Motor is the trademark of Blue Road Motor. And the investor of Lantou Motor is the Iron Niu Group.

Iron Niu Group felt that it was not good for Zhongtai to fight alone, so Liu pulled up Han Teng. In May 2016, the Hanteng brand was officially released, focusing on A0-class SUV, A-class SUV and B-class SUV. At present, it mainly has Hanteng X5, Hanteng X7, Hanteng X5EV and other models, but the performance is not outstanding.

Junma brand

Shortly afterwards, Tieniu Group planned a high-end brand, so Junma was born and was officially released in Xiongan New area of Hebei Province on June 27, 2017. Unlike the Zhongtai brand, Junma locates at the middle and high end of the market, similar to Geely's Lecker and Great Wall's WEY.

On January 17, 2018, Junma launched its first mass production SUV S70, but it only took half a year from the establishment of the brand to the emergence of the product, which was doubted by many people. Not to love you, Junma brand is also full of twists and turns.

Hanlong brand

Finally, Hanlong Automobile, founded in January 2016, is a modern vehicle manufacturing enterprise integrating automobile design, development, manufacturing, sales and after-sales service. At the beginning of 2018, Zhongtai Automobile invested 6 billion yuan to build a new factory in the northwest industrial park in Hubei province. The new factory was built in two phases. At present, the expected project of the project has been basically completed, and the first test car was officially put off the line in July last year. It is understood that behind Hanlong Motor, there is also the shadow of the Iron Niu Group, which does not rule out the possibility of new energy vehicle production qualifications in the future.

Tieniu Group from the original hardware factory into today's industry giant, from the dance dream of building cars finally realized. However, throughout the development layout of its brands, Jiangnan Automobile has existed in name only, while Zhongtai, Junma and Hanteng have some room for development, but the depressed situation can not be controlled.
