Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Tianjin have directly implemented the "National 6B" emission standards in one step.

According to the previous standard replacement practice, the implementation of the new standard will impose stricter restrictions on old vehicles, which will have a certain impact on the automobile market. In response, a spokesman for the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said that from the point of view of technical and industrial preparation, most car companies have completed the development of national six models and have entered the stage of mass production and sales. As of June 20, 99 light car companies have made public the environmental protection information of 2144 national six models. From the market point of view, the sixth model has been fully on the market, the market has basically achieved a smooth transition.

Industry insiders believe that from the "National five" to the "sixth National", it is a major technical assessment for automobile companies, and the implementation of the new standards in many places in advance has greatly reduced the reaction time left for automobile companies, forcing them to speed up the improvement of technology. For the car companies that have the strength of a sound technology research and development system, the early implementation of the new standards in some areas will not have a great impact on them, but will put them in a favorable position. The implementation of the new standards in some areas ahead of time will further promote the progress of energy-saving technologies of automobile enterprises, lead industrial upgrading and eliminate some backward production capacity.
