Although the two new cars are of the same origin, the naming of the RAV4 has long been won by FAW Toyota. What kind of Chinese name will the belated GAC Toyota use?

It was found from the Trademark Office that GAC Toyota has applied to register the "Wiranda" and "Wildlander" trademarks, which may become the final naming of GAC Toyota version of RAV4.

It is not difficult to find that, no matter from the Chinese name or the English name, it seems that GAC Toyota intends to unify the identification of the family car system with Han Landa.

With reference to C-HR/ Yize IZOA, it is expected that GAC Toyota version RAV4 and Rongfang will be consistent in appearance, interior decoration, power and so on.

FAW Toyota all-new RAV4 has been officially announced in the declaration information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car is based on Toyota TNGA platform, in addition to the use of overseas modeling, the power confirmed to provide only 2.0self-priming and 2.5hybrid powertrain, both power are provided with four-wheel drive version. Officials announced earlier that the new car will go on sale in October this year.

The overall styling design of the new RAV4 Rongfang is stronger than that of the previous generation, with a two-color body and will be available in both the sports version and the regular version, while overseas off-road models will not be available. The tail is a bit like Hanlanda, with rough lines and a bilateral exhaust layout below.

According to the declaration information, the length, width and height of the new RAV4 are 4600\ 1855\ 1680 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2690 mm, which is only slightly adjusted compared to the cash. Interior decoration is Toyota's more functional layout, and uses a suspended central control screen.

In terms of power, the new domestic RAV4 low-configuration model is equipped with the M20D 2.0L naturally aspirated engine produced by FAW Toyota, with a maximum horsepower of 171 horsepower, which is 20 horsepower higher than the current power. The hybrid model matches the hybrid system composed of 2.5L + motor, the maximum horsepower of the engine is 178 and the maximum horsepower of the motor is 120. In addition, both power models will be available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions.
