Production and sales of seahorse cars continue to plummet! Today, Haima released sales figures for January 2019, with production of 731 vehicles, down 92.54 per cent from a year earlier, and sales of 1327 vehicles, down 87.45 per cent from a year earlier.

If it goes on like this, Haima will fall into an endless situation, and once the situation is over, it will face the situation of delisting and being eliminated.

It has been 30 years since its establishment, and it has been famous for producing cars in cooperation with Mazda. After breaking up with Mazda, it also had a brilliant period of time on the road of building its own brand, but with the fierce competition in the market, the product strength and R & D innovation ability of Haima car are obviously insufficient, and the news of declining sales, performance losses and personnel changes one after another.

In 2018, the annual sales of seahorse cars were 67570, down 51.88% from the same period last year, achieving only 37.5% of the target of 180000. In terms of performance, Haima is expected to lose 1.2 billion-1.8 billion yuan in 2018 and nearly 100 million yuan in 2017. Seahorse believes that the loss is mainly due to the sharp decline in the company's car production and sales compared with the same period last year.

At present, Haima Motor is also seeking transformation, betting on the field of new energy vehicles, continuously launching a number of pure electric vehicle products, and cooperating with the new car manufacturer Xiaopeng Automobile to produce Xiaopeng automobile products.

In addition, Haima Motor is the third car company in China that has clearly put forward a timetable for banning the sale of fuel vehicles. According to Haima Automotive Plan, its products will fully apply hybrid technology in 2019, new energy models will account for 30% of sales in 2020, and fuel vehicles will be completely phased out in 2025.

However, with the current serious decline in sales and performance losses of Haima, can Haima alone survive until 2025?
