Recently, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the implementation methods of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Co., Ltd. will now recall a total of 302 imported GLE and GLS cars produced between February 29, 2016 and October 16, 2018.

The reason for this recall is that the vehicle exhaust catalytic converter may be mixed, which can not meet the vehicle emission standards and the relevant requirements of the vehicle diagnosis system, which may lead to the alarm of the vehicle diagnosis system.

In response, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Co., Ltd. said it will inspect vehicles within the recall and replace the correct catalytic converter free of charge to meet vehicle emission standards.
