At present, the administrative reconsideration application submitted by the company has been accepted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.

It is understood that in April 2018, when the Ecological and Environmental Bureau conducted a spot check on specific models of Jianghuai brand vehicles produced and sold by Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd., it was found that the functional tests of the on-board diagnosis systems of the three random inspection vehicles did not meet the requirements of the relevant standards. It is considered that the production enterprises have the behavior of selling the pollution control devices as inferior and pretending to be qualified products for emission inspection.

On May 16, 2019, the Beijing Ecological Environment Bureau held a hearing. Finally, it is considered that the statement and defense opinion of Jianghuai Automobile does not affect the determination of illegal facts, and the opinion of exemption from punishment will not be adopted.

If it refuses to accept the penalty decision, Jianghuai Motor can apply for reconsideration within 60 days, or bring a suit in a people's court within six months.

Subsequently, Jianghuai issued a notice that the vehicles tested this time are truck products of the Beijing five emission standard (stage 1), which are only sold in Beijing, with a total of 765 of these products. With the implementation of the Beijing five emission standard (phase 2) on September 1, 2018, this product has been discontinued, so it will not affect the normal production and operation of the company, and this fine and forfeiture will be included in the company's profit and loss in 2019.

The name of the listed company of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. is "Jianghuai Automobile". Its controlling shareholder is Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group holding Co., Ltd., with a shareholding ratio of 25.23%. The actual controller behind it is Anhui SASAC. Jianghuai Automobile is an integrated automobile manufacturer integrating the R & D, manufacture, sales and service of commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles and powertrain, and has set up a joint venture with Volkswagen and Ulay Motors.

JAC Motor's July production and sales report showed that July production, including passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles, was 25173, down 30.52% from a year earlier, and sales were 27555, down 27.29% from a year earlier.
