Earlier this year, Stephan Winkelmann, president of Bugatti, said in a media interview that Bugatti would not launch SUV models, but the market for new energy vehicles and SUVs has been very hot in recent years, and a new report from the automotive industry shows that Bugatti has not given up building SUVs. So there is news of a partnership with Rimac, and the car will also be produced by Bugatti in partnership with Magna, an auto parts company.

Rimac, a niche all-electric supercar company from Croatia, unveiled its second model, the Rimac Concept Two, at the Geneva Motor Show last March, powered by four motors, accelerating 100 kilometers in 1.97 seconds, with a 120kWh battery pack and a NEDC range of 650 kilometers.

On July 29, the appearance rendering of Bugatti's first SUV model has been exposed on the Internet. It can be seen that the air intake shape of the front face of the new car is very exaggerated. The whole front face looks very visually impactful. The shape is more attractive than that of the Curry South model.

The Bugatti SUV is also expected to be built by German design firm Edag, and Rimac has agreed to sell products including batteries and C_Two chassis to Bugatti. It is expected that the Bugatti SUV will eventually be produced by Magna.

Finally, in terms of price, Bugatti insiders revealed that the all-electric SUV is expected to start with 600 units in mass production, starting at $850,000 (about 5.97 million yuan). When the new car will be unveiled, we have to wait for Bugatti's official announcement!
